Research for the application of a Get-In-Shape service:
Currently the Ministry of Tourism approved a research program that will study the get-in-shape program in collaboration with Institute of Public Health, Institute of Research in Tourism, Ministry of Work and Social Solidarity, R-OM-SERV srl and Atlantic Tour.
The program will cover the following subprojects:
- The evaluation of the efficiency of such a service will take place in 4 pilot stations in Bucharest, Covasna, Buzias and Eforie
- Establishing the content and length of the course for the Get-In-Shape operator, there is a minimum 500 hours limit imposed by EU laws.
- Establishing and approval of the deontological code of Get-In-Shape service
- Establishing a commission which will license this service to different providers
- Registering the Get-In-Shape Trade Marks at the national office for Trade Marks
The instruction and licensing of the Get-In-Shape service will take place at the Institute of Public Health. Only medical assistants will take the operator position courses. The coordinators of the Get-In-Shape centers will be Medical Doctors, or Psychology Doctors that will attend an advanced course about get-in-shape Techniques.
Licensing of the Get-In-Shape program will be done based on a theoretical and practical exam, and the license owner will operate under the strict recommendations of the deontological code.
Authorizations and licenses to operate Get-In-Shape centers will be granted to Hotels, Balnear Resorts, Health Centers or Institutions dedicated to this purpose.
In case of breaking the rules of the deontological code by an operator or a center, administrative sanctions will be applied, and if it is the case these will lead to temporary or permanent revocation of the license.

A website will present the Get-In-Shape program on the Internet, along with an on-line reservation system. An intelligent smart card program will help organizing and paying of the get-in-shape services. | ||||||||||||

Special tests and medical analysis will be done before and after the attendance at a get-in-shape program in order to show the effectiveness of this program. | ||||||||||||
